Liverpool currently have a big problem to solve over Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian King sparked outrage last weekend by giving an incendiary interview following the Premier League champions’ 3-3 draw with Leeds United.

The 33-year-old was excluded from the squad for the Champions League victory against Inter and it remains to be seen whether he will be back in the team for the weekend game against Brighton.

Indeed it’s been speculated that Salah has played his final game for the Reds already - with the January transfer window just around the corner and the Africa Cup of Nations about to commence.

Salah offered €8m from Galatasaray

We could see Salah sold while he is away at the tournament in Morocco - and Saudi Pro League clubs would surely jump at the chance to do a deal.

With Salah under contract until 2027 however it could take a sizeable transfer fee - not to mention the wages - in order to get Salah out of Anfield.

And now a report has emerged on the Saudi sports portal which suggests that a TEMPORARY exit for Salah could be on the cards. It names Galatasaray as being interested in adding the winger on a six-month loan deal.

Galatasaray want six-month Salah deal

“Discussions are currently underway regarding a salary of up to 8 million euros for 6 months, as part of a planned loan arrangement from his current club, Liverpool, who are seeking to ensure the player's comfort and continued participation,” the report reads.

That might not be an ideal solution for Arne Slot and Richard Hughes - who would be surely seeking to draw a line under the Salah situation as soon as possible.

A loan deal would take him six months closer to the end of his Liverpool contract - and the summer transfer window would still require a buying club to come forward.

Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray have given strong hints in recent times that they are ready to move for Salah and the Istanbul giants may see January as a perfect opportunity to launch a bid.
