Georgia football transfer earns All-Big Ten honors

Former Georgia defensive lineman Bear Alexander, now at his third school, earns All-Big Ten honors in breakout season

Georgia Bulldogs transfer defensive lineman Bear Alexander earned second-team All-Big Ten honors from the Associated Press, the coaches and the media. Alexander spent the 2022 college football season with Georgia before transferring to the USC Trojans for 2023 and 2024. He then transferred to the Oregon Ducks in 2025.

With Oregon, Alexander has been impactful. The Ducks have the No. 9 scoring defense in the country at 14.8 points per game. Oregon also has the No. 20 run defense at 107.2 yards per game.

Alexander's interior presence is big reason why the Ducks made the College Football Playoff as the No. 5 seed. Oregon plays in the first-round of the playoff against James Madison and would face No. 4 Texas Tech in the quarterfinals with a win.
