Here are this week's winners.
Fall sports
Ohio football: Jake Britt, St. Xavier – He rushed for 48 yards, including a 39-yard TD run, had seven catches for 37 yards, and three tackles on defense, in the Bombers’ 28-14 loss to Olentangy Orange in the Division I state final.
Winter sports
Ohio big-school boys basketball team: Loveland – The Tigers put on a strong showing against West Clermont, winning 78-41.
Ohio small-school boys basketball team: East Clinton – East Clinton scored back-to-back wins against Georgetown and Blanchester, improving to 3-0.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys basketball team: Scott – The Eagles picked up two home wins against the Cincinnati Trailblazers and Newport Central Catholic.
Ohio big-school girls basketball team: West Clermont – Lopsided victories against St. Ursula and Loveland have West Clermont sitting at 3-0 to start the year.
Ohio small-school girls basketball team: Ursuline Academy – Ursuline secured two conference wins with a 37-25 victory over Mercy McAuley and a 53-42 win over St. Ursula.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls basketball team: Bellevue – The Tigers are 3-0 with wins against Robertson County, St. Patrick and Dayton.
Boys winter team:Blanchester bowling – Blanchester is 6-0 overall and 4-0 in conference after adding wins over East Clinton, Georgetown and Clinton-Massie.
Girls winter team: Lebanon swimming – The Warriors scored 369 team points at the Mason Invitational on Dec. 6, taking first place by 40 points.
Ohio big-school boys basketball:Chase Martin, Loveland – He had 37 points and 10 rebounds in a 78-41 win over West Clermont.
Ohio small-school boys basketball:Tahirou Sibby, DePaul Cristo Rey – He had 43 points and nine rebounds in a win over Spencer.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana big-school boys basketball: Jordan Clemons, Scott – The senior had 25 points in a 60-46 win over NewCath.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana small-school boys basketball: Luke Getsy, Calvary Christian – The junior scored 15 points in each of the team’s first two wins.
Ohio big-school girls basketball: Anna Proano-Raps, Loveland – She made the game-winning 3-pointer in overtime to propel the Tigers past Ross.
Ohio small-school girls basketball: Ellie Sizemore, Clinton-Massie – She had 10 points, five rebounds and three assists with just one turnover in a win over New Richmond.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana big-school girls basketball: Sydney Richmond, Scott – She shot 40 percent from the field to score 18 points and grab four rebounds in a win over Grant County.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana small-school girls basketball: Emme Kelly, Beechwood – The sophomore scored 27 points including making 5-of-5 three-pointers, in a win over Paris.
Ohio boys big-school bowling: Keagan Glomb, Hamilton – He had games of 268 and 196 in a loss to Middletown.
Ohio boys small-school bowling: Randy Eckman, Blanchester – He shot a perfect 300 in a win over East Clinton, and games of 238 and 218 in a win over Clinton-Massie as the team went 3-0 for the week.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys bowling:Maddox Kuryla, Boone County – He shot a perfect 300 and added a 247 in a win over Conner.
Ohio girls big-school bowling: Julianna Duker, Mercy McAuley – The senior bowled a 424 series (189, 235) in a win against Seton.
Ohio girls small-school bowling: Haley Hinkle, Clinton-Massie – She had games of 192 and 182 in a win over Batavia.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls bowling: Emery Rice, St. Henry – She shot games of 179 and 140 in a loss to Notre Dame.
Gymnast: Hayden Zimmerman, Cincinnati Country Day – In a quad meet at Cincinnati Country Day, she led the Nighthawks with top-five finishes in both bars and beam.
Ohio boys swimming/diving: Jack Clark, Clinton-Massie – He won the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.24) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:58.33) at Mason.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys swimming/diving: Reed Spaulding, Highlands – He won the 100-yard butterfly in 57.74 seconds and improved his 200-yard individual medley time to take fourth place in 2:14.81 at Scott.
Ohio girls swimming/diving: Elise Razzano, UrsulineAcademy – She took second place in the 100-yard freestyle (58.8 seconds), third place in the 50-yard freestyle (26.33 seconds) and helped two relays to top three finishes at Mason.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls swimming/diving: Stella Kendon, Highlands – She won the 500-yard freestyle in 5:44.57 and took second place in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:19.04 at Scott.
Ohio boys wrestling: Malachi Jackson, Reading – Jackson won the 157-pound bracket at the Franklin Invitational, going 5-0 with a pair of tech falls.
Ohio girls wrestling: Eleanor Polking, Oak Hills – The freshman was the 130-pound champion at the Hammer and Anvil, getting three pins and two tech falls.
If you win, what's next?
The Enquirer will no longer mail certificates to schools after getting feedback that families weren't receiving them. Alex Harrison will make digital copies of all certificates available to families by 8 a.m. the Monday after the Friday win. Families will access the PDFs through this public Dropbox link.
