Ohio State WR Jeremiah Smith (Birm/Lettermen Row)

The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 3A state title game is underway in Miami at Pitbull Stadium and a former Sunshine State superstar is in attendance.

Ohio State sophomore wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is in attendance to watch Jacksonville Raines and Miami Northwestern square off on Friday night. He’s on the sidelines alongside another familiar face in former Northwestern head coach and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

Smith, of course, starred for Chaminade-Madonna Prep, but his presence makes an already big game feel even bigger. He’ll get to see another high-profile receiver — Northwestern’s Calvin Russell — in action.

Both teams enter Friday night undefeated and both rank as top-five teams in the Sunshine State, according to the Massey Ratings. Rivals’ Andy Villamarzo has more on players to watch and how to watch the 3A state final on Friday night.
