Context Behind Boey’s Bayern Situation

Boey’s time in Germany has been disrupted by both competition and fitness issues. He has made just six Bundesliga starts this season and has not featured since November 1, missing seven consecutive matches across all competitions. Despite 14 appearances in total, including two Champions League outings in wins over Chelsea and Pafos, his role has diminished under Vincent Kompany.

Remaining behind Konrad Laimer in the pecking order has limited his rhythm, while illness and previous injury setbacks have further stalled momentum. Bayern’s willingness to let him leave in January signals a pragmatic acceptance that the move from Galatasaray has not yet delivered the expected return.

Palace Interest and Glasner Factor
