Milan’s hunt for a new striker has taken a turn, with Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus reportedly added to their growing list of targets, according to a report in Corriere dello Sport, relayed by Calciomercato.

The Brazilian forward, recently recovered from a long-term knee injury, is said to be desperate for immediate playing time to secure his place in the Seleção squad for the 2026 World Cup. With competition from Viktor Gyokeres and Mikel Merino at Arsenal limiting his opportunities, the idea of a move has surfaced.

However, the operation presents a massive financial hurdle for the Rossoneri. Jesus currently earns around €16 million gross per year, a salary deemed too much for Milan’s current wage structure. While a permanent transfer is effectively ruled out by the cost, the report suggests the Milan leadership may attempt to put together a temporary loan deal until the end of the season as an emergency measure to address their striking needs.
