🤕 Another Arsenal defender forced off as Gunners' injury woes continue

Arsenal's penchant for picking up an injury should come under the microscope after boss Mikel Arteta is set to potentially add another name to the list of the walking wounded.

The Gunners, who are currently deadlocked at 0-0 with bottom-dwelling Wolves at the Emirates, will be temporarily stripped of the services of Ben White, who has come off injured at the half-hour mark.

Just like their 2024/25 campaign that was hampered by horrific injury luck, much of the same has been seen in the Arsenal camp this term, with seven of the 25-man senior squad missing at least one match through injury this season.

White himself has struggled for fitness after suffering a knee injury last season that only recently saw him return to full fitness this term.

Arsenal are currently without Gabriel Magalhães and Cristhian Mosquera, and only just welcomed back William Saliba into the fold after the Frenchman recovered from his own injury layoff, which has seen Arteta recently deploy Christian Nørgaard at centre-back during their Champions League win over Club Brugge in midweek.

Should White find himself back on the treatment table, one has to wonder just how much this squad can bend before suffering a similar break that caused so much damage to their domestic campaign last season.
