You’ll need a program to figure who is, and isn’t, playing for the Giants on Sunday.
The New York Giants on Saturday made a flurry of roster moves in advance of Sunday’s Week 15 game against the Washington Commanders.
Free agent signings from the Giants practice squad:
WR Dalen Cambre
OLB Tomon Fox
This will mark the fifth time this season that the Giants have signed Fox to the active roster. The previous three times he was subsequently waived and re-signed to the practice squad.
Cambre, an undrafted free agent rookie from Louisiana, was elevated from the practice squad the past three games. He has become a regular part of the Giants’ special teams.
Elevated from the practice squad:
P Cameron Johnston
DT Elijah Chatman
Johnston was signed this week because of an injury to punter Jamie Gillan. His elevation almost certainly means Gillan will miss Sunday’s game.
This will be Chatman’s second elevation.
Activated from injured reserve:
LB Darius Muasau
Muasau has missed the last five games with an ankle injury. He has seven starts for the Giants this season.
Placed on injured reserve:
OLB Victor Dimukeje
CB Nic Jones
Jones has a shoulder injury. It was announced earlier in the week that he will undergo surgery. Dimukeje missed the first eight games of the season with a pectoral injury. He now has a knee injury that will end his season.
Waived
CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse
Bernard-Converse was claimed on waivers from the Cleveland Browns earlier in the season. He played in four games for the Giants.
