The report points out how Barcelona have seen a noticeable decline in Lewandowski’s form, especially in recent matches.

Therefore, the Pole’s chances of staying at Barcelona and signing a new contract extension are dwindling day by day.

This likely means Lewandowski may have to see out his contract at Barcelona at the end of the season and find a new adventure elsewhere.

The player, for his part, loves life in Barcelona and wants to stay at all costs. But the club are wary about his age and physical decline. He will, after all, turn 38 by the start of next season.

Keeping these factors in mind, Barcelona are ready to enter the market for a new striker, who can serve as a long-term replacement for Lewandowski.
