FIFA’s tournament brings together the champions of each continent for a mini knockout event.

Arsenal will play their semi-final at Brentford’s GTech Stadium on 28 January against either Wuhan Jiangda or ASFAR, who meet this weekend.

Corinthians will face Gotham FC in the other semi final earlier that day at the same venue.

The third place match and the final will both be played at the Emirates on 1 February.

Chief executive Richard Garlicksaid: “Following our historic UEFA Women’s Champions League win in May, we’re proud that we will be competing on the global stage in the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

“We’re thrilled that the third-place match and final will be played at Arsenal Stadium, as we continue to pioneer and drive growth in the women’s game with our supporters. We look forward to delivering a memorable event for our community in North London and supporters of the game all over the world.”

Arsenal’s WSL home match against Leicester City will be rescheduled because of the fixture clash. The club will contact season-ticket holders with details.

Tickets for the semi finals will be sold through Brentford. Tickets for the final and third place match go on pre sale on 15 December, starting at £18 for adults and £9 for juniors, and will cover both games.
