Arsenal, Real Madrid Could Strike Major Blow to PSG for €150M-Rated Star

PSG have made a point of strengthening a French backbone in recent transfer windows, bringing in players such as Bradley Barcola, Desire Doue, and Lucas Chevalier.

Another France international could now be on the club’s shortlist. According to a recent report from TBR Football, Bayern Munich are pushing to tie Michael Olise to a new deal before the season wraps up as interest from around Europe continues to build.

Bayern are understood to be pleased with Olise’s development and are preparing a significant pay increase in hopes of keeping him. Liverpool have monitored the winger for a while, with Chelsea, PSG, and Barcelona also linked, although none are expected to make a move next summer.

TEAMtalk has indicated Real Madrid could be a potential future destination for Olise, with Liverpool and Arsenal also in the picture.

Fichajes reports that PSG would need to put up €150 million if the club looks to add another French player and makes a move for Olise. Despite that interest, Football Insider reporter Pete O’Rourke says Bayern Munich have no intention of letting Michael Olise leave anytime soon, even with PSG and other top clubs tracking the situation.

“I think it’s a real difficult deal to do for anybody, not just Manchester City, because Bayern Munich don’t want to lose to Olise,” O’Rourke said. “He’s under contract until 2029. There’s talk about preparing a new deal to try and ward off that interest and sort of end any speculation with a move away.

“I’m sure Bayern will be confident they can keep hold of Michael Olise. So yeah, it looks a real difficult deal to do for Man City and all Michael Olise’s other suitors as well, because he’s such a key man for Bayern now.

“Bayern won’t want to lose their top players and they’ll put a huge price tag on their side to scare off those potential interested clubs and as I said they’re preparing a new contract that they will hope that the Frenchman will sign to sort of end any speculation of a move away from Bavaria.”
