Arsenal were struck by injuries yet again on Saturday against Wolverhampton.
Ben White was forced off the pitch after just 30 minutes due to a hamstring injury suffered during a sprint. Myles Lewis-Skelly came on to replace him. Mikel Arteta commented on the situation:
Ben was already struggling with a knee issue. He was forced to play a lot because we had no alternatives. It's never good to take that risk, but we had no choice.
Arsenal are still without several key players: Gabriel Magalhães, Cristhian Mosquera, Kai Havertz, and Max Dowman remain unavailable. The good news for the Spanish coach: Gabriel Jesus returned to league action, making his first appearance since January after a lengthy anterior cruciate ligament injury.
