The Texas Longhorns' season comes to many as a bit of a disappointment. The final few weeks include the boys in orange tearing up the stat sheet, but they came just shy of making it into the 2026 College Football Playoff. A huge factor of that was the continuous development of Quarterback, Arch Manning.
Arch Manning came into the season as the Heisman favorite, as well as a top quarterback on many NFL Draft Boards, being picked early in the first round. After a 9-3 record, Arch Manning has decided to stay another year in College for the Texas Longhorns

Despite the perhaps disappointing end to a streak of Texas post-season appearances, Arch Manning and co strung together three separate top 10-ranked wins, and a powerful end of the season with a double-digit win over No. 3-ranked Texas A&M, who came into DKR undefeated
Manning, who passed for 2942yds, 24tds, adding another 244yds and 8tds on the ground, is expected to be among the front-running favorites for the Heisman award in 2026.
