Sugar Bowl TV channel, kickoff time set for Georgia football

The Georgia Bulldogs will play the Tulane Green Wave or Ole Miss Rebels in the Sugar Bowl. How can Georgia football fans watch the game

The Georgia Bulldogs (12-1, 7-1 SEC) will play the winner of Saturday's Tulane Green Wave at Ole Miss Rebels game in the Sugar Bowl. No. 11 Tulane (11-2, 7-1 AAC) is over two-touchdown road underdogs against No. 6 Ole Miss (11-1, 7-1 SEC).

Tulane and Ole Miss have already met once this season with the Rebels earning a comfortable 45-10 win. Georgia has not played Tulane, but the Bulldogs did beat Ole Miss 43-35 earlier this season behind a thrilling fourth quarter comeback.

The Sugar Bowl will be played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana at 8 p.m. ET on New Year's Day. The Sugar Bowl is one of four College Football Playoff quarterfinals. Last year, Georgia lost to Notre Dame 23-10 in the Sugar Bowl, which was quarterback Gunner Stockton's first career start.

This year, Georgia will look to have a better performance in the Sugar Bowl. Georgia, like last season, won the SEC championship, but the 2025 Bulldogs have a very different feel because of Stockton's experience and Georgia's ability to run the ball. The Bulldogs had their best defensive performance of the season in the SEC championship against Alabama and carry a lot of momentum into the playoff.
