Exactly 164 days after his serious ankle injury during the Club World Cup match against PSG, Jamal Musiala returned to Bayern Munich training.
The 22-year-old returned to the pitch on Tuesday morning and was able to participate in parts of Bayern's team training.
Musiala received a warm welcome from his teammates and first walked through a guard of honor formed by his fellow players.
He then participated in the warm-up and some passing drills. The attacking midfielder then continued his rehabilitation individually.
The Bavarians' head coach Vincent Kompany had hinted at the end of last week that the German star could return very soon.
While next Sunday's trip to 1.FC Heidenheim may come too soon, Musiala is fully on course to return to the lineup in early 2026.
