Chelsea fans’ preferred lineup against Cardiff City: Rotation time (even Tosin)!

Cardiff City vs. Chelsea, League Cup: Preferred lineup

Some of Chelsea’s lesser spotted squad members are expected to get some minutes tonight against third-division Cardiff City in the League Cup. Though a spot in the semifinals is on the line, we should be able to dispatch the only lower-league side remaining in this competition without needing all the usual suspects. The upcoming schedule looks daunting; we need them to be rested and ready.

For the WAGNH Community, that means a nearly complete rotation to backups at every position, with the one exception of central midfield, where Moisés Caicedo gets the call. Moi has been suspended in the league, so he’s only played one game over the past couple weeks.

Ten of the eleven starters garnered at least 68% (almost nice); the one exception is Tosin, who squeaks in with just 51% after his horror-show last time out. Ty George (49%) and Muy Bueno Gusto (48%) just miss out.

4-2-3-1 (86%)
Jörgensen (68%) | Hato (91%), Badiashile (76%), Tosin (51%), Acheampong (96%) | Santos (96%), Caicedo (77%) | Gittens (74%), Buonanotte (72%), Estêvão (84%) | Guiu (81%)
