Levee, Doe, Brewer enter Dansville Wall of Fame. How they got there

Three former standout student-athletes at Dansville have joined the school's Athletic Wall of Fame.

The Dansville Central School District, in collaboration with the Athletic Wall of Fame Committee, recognized three former student athletes on Saturday, Dec. 13.

The Class of 2025 Induction Ceremony was held between the varsity consolation and varsity championship games of the Dansville Rotary Boys Basketball Tournament.

"Dansville Athletics has a proud tradition of talented athletes, knowledgeable coaches, fierce competitors and successful teams," said Dave Moodie, Dansville High School Principal, Athletic Director and Chairman of the Athletic Wall of Fame Committee.

"The members of this year’s induction class, exemplify the standard of excellence that is required to be a Dansville Mustang Athletic Wall of Fame member," Moodie added. "This year’s inductees were outstanding athletes while attending Dansville High School. Furthermore, they had a lot of success at the collegiate level."

Each inductee was presented with a plaque to be displayed on the Athletic Wall of Fame, a copy of their induction plaque and a Wall of Fame Member jacket.

Here is how this year's inductees earned their way to the Dansville Wall of Fame.

Jill Brewer, Class of 1997

Jill Brewer was a three-sport athlete at Dansville High School. She was a three-year member of the varsity volleyball team, earning LCAA League All-Star honors and being named Team MVP in both her junior and senior seasons. In addition to volleyball, Brewer was a three-year member of the girls’ varsity basketball team, where she also earned Team MVP recognition in her junior and senior years.

During the spring season, Brewer was a five-year member of the varsity track and field team, achieving numerous accolades, including: LCAA League All-Star (2x), Team MVP (3x), County Champion – 100m hurdles (2x), Sectional Champion – 100m hurdles (3x), School Record Holder – 100m hurdles, and NYS Track Meet participant – 100m hurdles.

Brewer's dedication and leadership were recognized by the Dansville Athletic Department, which named her the Dedicated Junior Female Athlete and the Most Outstanding Senior Female Athlete. Brewer continued her athletic career at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she was a four-year member of the volleyball team and also competed on the indoor and outdoor track and field teams.

Emily Doe, Class of 2012

Emily Doe demonstrated exceptional talent as a swimmer from early on in her career. Recognizing her potential, Dansville High School coaches promoted her to the varsity swim team while she was still in eighth grade — a rare achievement that marked the beginning of a distinguished athletic career.

Over the next five seasons, Doe's dedication and performance earned her numerous accolades, including Rookie of the Year (2007-2008), Most Improved Swimmer (2008-2009), and Most Valuable Player (2009-2010). The 2009 season was particularly historic, as Doe became the first female athlete from Dansville to qualify for the New York State Championship Meet, earning spots in all four of her events: the 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, and multiple relays.

That same year, the Dansville Girls Swim Team won the Livingston County Championship — a title they retained through Emily’s senior year. Emily played a pivotal role in the team’s continued success, securing multiple individual and relay titles. She was named LCAA Champion in the 50 Freestyle (2009, 2010), 100 Freestyle (2010, 2011), 200 Freestyle (2011), 200 Medley Relay (2010), and 400 Freestyle Relay (2010, 2011). Her consistent excellence earned her recognition as a three-time LCAA All-Star during her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons.

At the sectional level, she achieved podium finishes in the 50, 100 and 200 Freestyle, as well as the 200 and 400 Freestyle Relays, contributing to Dansville’s dominance in Section V from 2009 through 2011. Doe qualified for the State Championship Meet each year during that period, competing in various combinations of individual and relay events. At the New York State Championship Meet, her relay teams achieved notable placements — finishing 5th in the 400 Freestyle Relay (2011), 7th in the 200 Medley Relay (2010), and 9th in the 200 Freestyle Relay (2010).

During her time, she broke multiple school and pool records throughout the county, including the 100 Freestyle (54.22), 200 Medley Relay (1:51.09), 200 Freestyle Relay (1:40.62), and 400 Freestyle Relay (3:38.45). Remarkably, these records still stand more than 13 years later, underscoring her lasting impact on the sport and the legacy she built through years of dedication, leadership, and athletic excellence.

Following her high school career, Doe continued to compete at the collegiate level for SUNY Oswego from 2012 to 2016. She now serves as a Comprehensive Dentist for the United States Air Force.

Kim Levee, Class of 2014

Kim Levee was a three-sport athlete while at Dansville High School and continued her athletic accomplishments at the collegiate level. In the fall, Kim was a member of the varsity girls’ soccer team for three years and was an outstanding defensive player. She was selected as the Most Improved Player (2012), Defensive Player of the Year (2013), and an Exceptional Senior (2013).

The winter season was Levee's true passion, in which she was a member of the girls’ varsity basketball team for three years. She was selected as a member of the Livingston County News - Super 18 (2013, 2014), MVP of an in-season tournament (2013), Team MVP (2014), Spectator Great 8 (2014), LCAA League All Star (2013, 2014), LCN Hot Corner recognition (2014), and an Exceptional Senior (2014).

During the spring, Levee was a member of the varsity track & field team (four years) and was a LCAA League All Star (2013-2014). Her commitment, dedication and hard work as a high school athlete resulted in her being selected for the Dedicated Female Athlete Award her junior year and the Most Outstanding Female Athlete Award her senior year.

Upon graduating from Dansville High School, Levee attended Alfred State College where she was a member of the track and field team and the women’s basketball team. Kim earned All Academic Team honors (2016, 2017); was selected to the ACAA All Tournament Team (2017); 2nd Team All Independent (2017) and a member of the 2014-2015 Alfred State College Athletic Hall of Fame Women’s Basketball Team.
