Real Madrid will clash heads with Talavera at the Estadio Municipal El Prado on Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Copa del Rey. Los Blancos managed to earn a hard-fought 2-1 win away at Alaves recently, which should give them a lot of confidence going into this game.

Xabi Alonso will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this clash. Gonzalo Garcia could get the nod to spearhead Real Madrid‘s attack up top.

4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Talavera

Defence

Andriy Lunin will operate in between the sticks for Los Blancos as he looks to keep a clean sheet on the road. Raul Asencio will function alongside Alvaro Carreras at the centre of the Real Madrid backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

Fran Garcia will get a chance to fill in as a makeshift right-back, while Victor Valdepenas hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Dean Huijsen will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Aurelien Tchouameni and Dani Ceballos will operate as the holding midfielders as they hope to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Rodrygo, Franco Mastantuono and Brahim Diaz will play just ahead of them as part of Alonso’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if Los Blancos are to secure a convincing win this week.

Jude Bellingham, Arda Guler and Vinicius Junior will be rested on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Gonzalo Garcia will lead the line for the Madrid giants up top. He would be eager to find the back of the net against Talavera this Wednesday night.

Kylian Mbappe will get a rest on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Los Blancos are in need of a goal by then.
