Tuesday Seacoast Roundup: Exeter boys remain undefeated, more results

The Exeter High School boys basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 51-35 Division I win at Londonderry on Tuesday.

LONDONDERRY - Jackson McDonald scored 10 of his 12 points in the fourth quarter as the Exeter High School boys basketball team outscored Londonderry, 24-12 in the final 8 minutes and earned a 51-35 Division I win on Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Huxley Brown

Huxley Brown led Exeter (2-0) with 14 points, while Tyler Ream had eight, and Jack Thibodeau six.

PORTLAND, Maine - Robert Williams led Class B Marshwood (1-3) with 12 points in this loss to Class A Deering. Lucas Caswell added eight points off the bench for the Hawks.

Gray-New Gloucester 46

YORK, Maine - Reece MacDonald's 19 points led a trio of Wildcats in double-figures in this Class B South win.

Cam Swett added 14 points for York (4-0), while Henry Mirick had 11.

WEARE - Ryland Sweatt had 17 points and Evan Clift added 14 for Oyster River (1-1) in its Division II win. Max Scopel added eight points for the Bobcats.

NEW IPSWICH - Sophomore Nick Minutelli scored a game-high 19 points and senior Matt Napoletano had 15 as Newmarket improved to 4-0 with this Division IV win.

Junior Mark Vincent added eight points for the Mules.

KITTERY, Maine - Andre Ronaldson had 19 points, and Jack Kern added 13 for Traip (1-3) in this Class C South win.

EXETER - Senior Jessica Melick had 12 points and 14 rebounds for Exeter in this Division I loss. Junior Lexy Rogers added 14 points and six rebounds for the Blue Hawks, and junior Emme Kayes had six rebounds and three assists.

HAMPTON - Kaila Roy scored a team-high 13 points, and Katelyn Starr had eight for Winnacunnet (0-2) in its Division I home-opener.

DURHAM - Wren Horn and Payton Drapeau both scored 10 points as Oyster River improved to 2-0 with this Division II win.

Ashling Ferris and Kendall Strong both had seven points for the Bobcats, and Eva Bebbington and Avery Biggwither each had five.

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Renee St. Pierre had 22 points and 10 rebounds as Class B Marshwood improved to 3-1 on the season with this win over Class A Deering.

Isabelle Tice added 15 points for the Hawks, while teammate Natalie Lathrop had 14.

BRIDGTON, Maine - Jokubas Mostavicius scored his fourth goal of the night with 2 seconds left in regulation, giving Lake Region this Class A win.

Sean Sullivan scored three goals for Marshwood (0-4) while Shane Cullity and Brody Langella each scored one goal. Marshwood goalie Connor Lentz had 30 saves.

HAMPTON - Ari Hulbert-Nuzzolo scored 13 points and Pammy Valhouli added 10 for Hampton. Lucy Jones starred defensively in the win.
