After a relatively cagey opening 40 minutes, the Partenopei opened the scoring through David Neres' close-range finish.
The chance was put on a plate after some clever thinking from Højlund, who provided the assist.
The Danish attacker was facing away from goal at a tight angle before swivelling and producing a perfect cross for Neres to convert.Â
