The Texas Longhorns added a third recruit to the 2027 recruiting class on Thursday with the commitment of Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep tight end JT Geraci.
The 6’5, 230-pounder chose Texas over 26 other offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M, among others. The Longhorns offered Geraci back in June and won out over a top five that included the Buckeyes, Crimson Tide, Commodores, and Fighting Irish.
A consensus three-star prospect, Geraci is ranked as the No. 536 player nationally and the No. 28 tight end, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Geraci joins New Orleans (La.) Brother Martin wide receiver Easton Royal and Manvel cornerback Karnell James in the Texas recruiting class.
