Jake Paul will make another walk to the boxing ring to face off against the toughest challenge of his career in the form of ex WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO Heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, later this evening (Fri., Dec. 19, 2025) LIVE on Netflix from inside Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

Considering the fact that Joshua tipped the scales at more than 240 pounds (official weigh-in results here), while Paul usually fights his heaviest at a little over 200 pounds (216.4 this weekend), there had to be a few rules in place to make up for the fact that Paul is moving up in weight (and competition). But, make no mistake about it, this is not an exhibition bout where Joshua will have to take it easy. This will be a full-on professional boxing match, and knockouts will be allowed, which could mean bad news for “El Gallo.”

  • Expected start time of 10 p.m. ET LIVE on Netflix
  • Professionally sanctioned boxing match by Florida’s Athletic Commission
  • Eight rounds total
  • Three-minute rounds
  • 10-ounce gloves, standard for pro heavyweights

  • No weight limit for Paul
  • No headgear
  • Paul is 28 years old with a professional record of 12-1 (7 KO)
