Here’s a look at the Philadelphia Eagles’ updated playoff chances after the first game of Week 16 (via FTN Fantasy):

  • Chances of making the playoffs: 99.3%
  • No. 1 seed (first-round bye): 0.1%
  • No. 2 seed: 14.6%
  • No. 3 seed: 81.1%
  • No. 4 seed: 2.5%
  • No. 7 seed: Not impossible but extremely unlikely (see very bottom of graphic below)

As we all know, the Eagles can become the first team to repeat as NFC East champions since 2004 simply by beating Washington on Saturday. As a division winner, the Eagles will automatically host at least one playoff game.
