Atlanta Braves news and notes from Friday.
The Atlanta Braves announced Friday that right-hander Ian Hamilton was added on a one-year, non-guaranteed contract.
The 30-year-old spent the 2025 season with the New York Yankees, where he appeared in 36 games and managed a 4.28 ERA through 40 frames. In the same season, he logged 19 games in the minors and put together an unimpressive ERA of 6.00.
However, the deal does give the Braves some added depth and will hopefully be a good move in the long run.
