Oklahoma tight end Kaden Helms plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Helms has one year of eligibility remaining.

Helms made nine appearances this season. He recorded a career-high five catches for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Helms only played in three games during his freshman season and ultimately redshirted. The 6-foot-5 TE missed the following season due to injury. Helms played in eight games in the 2024 campaign, but primarily served on special teams.

In total, Helms recorded eight catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns during his time at Oklahoma. Helms played high school football at Bellevue West (NE), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 242 overall player and No. 10 tight end in the 2022 recruiting cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
