No. 1-ranked lightweight contender, Arman Tsarukyan, will not be getting a UFC title shot anytime soon and the “old ladies” who keep whining about it need to sit down and shut up.
But just because “Ahalkalakets” is residing in the UFC doghouse doesn’t mean he won’t be let off his leash from time to time. In fact, Tsarukyan recently put pen to paper for a wrestling showdown opposite PFL veteran Lance Palmer as part of the Real American Freestyle (RAF) event on Jan. 10 in Sunrise.
The card streams live on FOX Nation.
This marks the RAF debut for Tsarukyan and the second appearance for Palmer.
“We set out to build something wrestling never had, a true professional home,” said Chad Bronstein, co-founder and CEO of Real American Freestyle. “2025 showed us that the appetite is there. 2026 is about building on that foundation and taking this league to an even bigger level.”
RAF 05 will also feature the rebooked contest between current UFC middleweight Bo Nickal and former 185-pound title challenger Yoel Romero. In addition, RAF featherweight champion Jordan Oliver defends his title in a rematch against Real Woods.
RAF05 will be headlined by a battle of former UFC headliners featuring Luke Rockhold vs. Colby Covington.
