The NFL announced the 2025 Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday, Dec. 23.
A total of 88 players are selected each year, 44 from the AFC and 44 from the NFC.
The Dallas Cowboys were well represented, with five players earned NFC Pro Bowl honors.
Quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver George Pickens, defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, guard Tyler Smith, and kicker Brandon Aubrey are the five Cowboys who will represent the organization at the Pro Bowl.
Prescott will make the fourth appearance of his career, the Cowboys long time quarterback, through 16 weeks, ranks second in passing yards, third in passing touchdowns, seventh in completion percentage, and first in completions. Throughout the 2025 season, Prescott has led the No. 1 overall offense and top ranked passing unit.
The Cowboys veteran quarterback has also achieved major milestones, becoming the Cowboys’ all-time passing yards leader (surpassing Tony Romo), and reached 4,000+ passing yards for the season during Week 16, tying Romo’s franchise record for most 4,000-yard seasons.
Helping Prescott achieve those numbers was Cowboys first year wide receiver George Pickens.
Acquired by the team in the offseason in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pickens would go on to have a career season as he totaled career highs in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.
Pickens also matched a career high in Week 16 with his fifth 100 yard performance on Sunday as he recorded nine receptions, for 130 yards, and nine touchdowns.
Pickens was the Cowboys’ biggest acquisition of the offseason, while Quinnen Williams was the biggest add on in season.
Williams who came over from the New York Jets during the trade deadline in November, helped spark a three game win streak vs. the Las Vegas Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, and Kansas City Chiefs, a streak in which the defense was credited with several big plays during the stretch.
Since being traded to the Cowboys (first game in Week 11), Quinnen Williams leads all defensive tackles with a 20.3% pressure rate (min. 100 pass rushes), while Osa Odighizuwa has generated the 12th-highest pressure rate (10.1%) among that group, per NFL Pro.
Left guard Tyler Smith makes his third appearance.
Smith, per Pro Football Focus, has allowed just two sacks, 21 pressures, and zero quarterback hits all season.
“Put him at center. He can do it all,” quarterback Dak Prescott said. “We’re good at center, but honestly, I mean, he can play whatever he wants and that’s credit to that guy…” Prescott said. “There was no doubt of what he was going to be able to do and the way that he was going to play. I watched him obviously practice and just his intentionality and his approach. That’s a true football player and we’re blessed to have him on our side. He can play wherever we need him to.”
Kicker Brandon Aubrey will kick in his third pro bowl.
Aubrey has gone 32-of-36 on field goal attempts this season and set the NFL record for most 60+ yard field goals in a season (6) and became the first kicker with three 55+ yard field goals in one game (vs. Detroit in Week 14).
The 2026 Pro Bowl Games will be held in San Francisco, California, at the Moscone Center on Tuesday, February 3.
