How confident are you feeling in the overall future for the Cowboys?
At this point, most Dallas Cowboys fans are just ready for the season to be over. The latest loss to the Los Angeles Chargers after already being eliminated from playoff contention was emblematic of the Cowboys season. The offense looked good for a while, sputtered a bit in different areas, and ultimately faded. But that was better than the defense, which never got started at all and made everything the offense tried to do feel meaningless anyway.
That meaningless feeling has been following the Cowboys since the loss to the Detroit Lions, and likely carries on through the rest of the season for most fans.
But what about 2026? Any takers there? The Cowboys have some strong points for the offseason. An extra first-round pick. An offense that just needs some fine-tuning. An offensive coaching staff that seems to get it. Of course fixing that defense will be the big issue.
