With roughly a week remaining before the January transfer window opens, Real Madrid have made their first and only move by loaning out Endrick.
The Brazilian international is set to join Olympique Lyon on a short-term loan, with the move being confirmed on Tuesday.
Real Madrid are set to pay half of Endrick’s salary, while Lyon will pay €1 million as loan fee for the young attacker, who is looking for regular game time during the second half of the season.
The primary objective of the loan was for Endrick to get an opportunity to prove himself not to only to Real Madrid, but to Carlo Ancelotti, as the youngster eyes a spot in the Brazilian team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

As reported by AS, the Brazilian international, before leaving Madrid, told his teammates that he wants to return and triumph at Real Madrid.
The club, for their part, have no desire to offload the youngster permanently either and consider him a long-term prospect, despite his initial struggles at the club.
That is perhaps why Real Madrid have not included any buyback clause for Lyon in Endrick’s loan deal, meaning the French club do not have the option of buying the player permanently at the end of the season.
The report also makes it clear that Endrick’s chapter at Real Madrid is not over yet. The club, therefore, will be keeping a close eye on the youngster as he looks to once again play regular football at Lyon.
