Reports of the move surfaced on Christmas Eve, and Johnson confirmed the news on social media.
Jahiem Johnson led Tulane with four interceptions in its College Football Playoff campaign and tallied 42 tackles in the process.
The redshirt sophomore leaves Uptown with 28 games of action under his belt.
Jahiem Johnson was a football star at Hammond High School and signed with the Green Wave in February of 2023.
He is the latest Tulane standout to enter the transfer portal, joining players like Shadre Hurst, Tre’Von McAlpine, Javin Gordon, and Santana Hopper.
