WASHINGTON — As East Carolina prepares for Saturday’s Military Bowl matchup with Pittsburgh, the Pirates took to the practice field on Wednesday.

ECU got practice underway at about 10 a.m. Wednesday morning inside the St. James indoor facility in Springfield, VA, and wrapped up around 11:20am.

From there, the team traveled to American Legion Post 176 in Springfield, where they participated in a community service event, as the Pirates helped set up supplies for America’s Adopt-a-Soldier Packing program.

Later in the evening, ECU made their way to a team bowling event at Lucky Strike in Bethesda, Md. before having dinner at Carmine’s Italian Restaurant in Washington.

ECU will not practice on Christmas Day, as they will attend Thursday’s Cowboys-Commanders game at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md. at 1 p.m. Former Pirate CB Shavon Revel Jr. is part of the Cowboys active roster and safety Julius Wood is on the Cowboys practice squad.
