Chet Gresham takes us through the top 50 PPR TEs for Week 17
Welcome to Week 17 of the fantasy football season. Below you will find tight end rankings for your fantasy championship matchups. Good luck and sweet dreams to your opponents, who will need to rest up for this butt whoopin’ they’re about to receive.
Week 17 byes
None.
TE streamer of the week
Brenton Strange, Jaguars vs Colts
Strange is a touchdown dependent tight end like 98% of tight ends in the league and his quarterback has been playing great. This week he also gets a nice matchup against the Colts who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends.
TE injuries
George Kittle, 49ers
Kittle tweaked his ankle against the Colts and didn’t return to the game. It doesn’t seem to be a significant injury and he should have a chance to play against the Bears on Sunday night.
Mason Taylor, Jets
Taylor wasn’t able play or practice the last two weeks due to a neck injury. Unless we see him get out there in practice, we have to believe he’ll miss again. There aren’t many Jets you want to risk starting in the fantasy playoffs as it is though.
