In a recent report, Tutto Juve mentioned that Arsenal are among the clubs hoping to land Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz. It has been claimed that the Gunners would have to rival Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to land the Turkish wide player next year.
Yildiz’s Impressive Record In Serie A
The 20-year-old has caught the eye at times with his performances on the left side of Juvetus’ attack this season. Yildiz has banged in six goals and earned six assists in 22 matches for the Turin outfit in this campaign so far across all competitions.
The Turkish talent has proven himself to be a decent contributor out in the wide areas as he is averaging 2.53 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. He has kept 40% of his attempts on target. Yildiz has even distributed possession relatively well after completing 76.7% of his attempted passes in the Italian first division (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Turin club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Gunners to sign him on the cheap next year.

Is Yildiz A Good Fit For Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta?
Yildiz can use his pace well to make some driving runs with the ball out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to engineer a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and can strike the ball with power from long range.
The Turkish sensation is primarily a left-winger but can also operate as a right-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if told to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can adapt to the physicality and high intensity of the Premier League if the Gunners manage to land him next year.
We can expect Yildiz to add more firepower to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the North London club. With Viktor Gyökeres failing to settle in and Gabriel Jesus being as injury prone as he is, it makes sense for Arteta to go for Yildiz.
At 20, Yildiz has got the potential to be a future star in English football. Therefore, he would be a great fit for Arteta’s needs in the long run. However, Arsenal would have to be patient with his development before they can get the best out of the Turkish youngster.
