Titans-Saints weather: Unusual December weather expected at Nissan Stadium

Unseasonably warm kickoff temperatures in Nashville will plummet as rain arrives

Fans attending the Titans-Saints game at Nissan Stadium on Sunday will experience unseasonably warm conditions with a high of 72 degrees before rain arrives late in the evening, according to AccuWeather data.

Cloudy skies will dominate the day as temperatures climb from the low 60s in the morning to peak around 2 p.m. The RealFeel temperature is forecast to reach 68 degrees during the afternoon hours.

South-southwest winds will intensify throughout the day, starting at 9 mph in the morning and increasing to 16 mph by afternoon. Gusts could reach 33 mph at times.

Dry conditions are expected for most of the day, but the forecast calls for rain chances to increase sharply after dark. The probability of precipitation rises to 33% by 9 p.m. and jumps to 75% from 10 p.m. through the remainder of the night. Approximately 0.04 inches of rain is expected to fall.

Temperatures will decline as the rain moves in, dropping from the mid-60s to the high 50s by 11 p.m.

Titans Cornerback Marcus Harris, outside linebacker Oluwafemi Oladejo and wide receiver Bryce Oliver will not suit up for the game. Harris is dealing with a knee injury and did not practice all week.

Two Titans players carry questionable designations. Outside linebacker Ali Gaye has a knee injury but participated fully in practice throughout the week. Cornerback Micah Robinson missed Friday’s practice due to an illness and is questionable for the game.

Outside linebacker Jaylen Harrell did not practice Friday for personal reasons but does not have a game status designation.

Several Titans players who appeared on the injury report are expected to play. Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis, tight end Gunnar Helm and guard Kevin Zeitler were all limited participants in practice due to achilles, toe and groin injuries, respectively.

The Saints also have injury concerns heading into the game. Running back Alvin Kamara, defensive tackle Bryan Bresee and guard Cesar Ruiz did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. Kamara is dealing with knee and ankle injuries, while Bresee has a knee injury and Ruiz has an ankle injury.
