Buffalo is down a few key contributors today
The Buffalo Bills ruled four players out on Friday for today’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. After elevating two players from the practice squad on Saturday and signing tight end Keleki Latu from the practice squad while releasing Mecole Hardman Jr., the team must declare three additional inactive players for today’s game.
When the team signed Latu to the active roster, we assumed that either Dawson Knox or Dalton Kincaid, both of whom are listed as questionable thanks to knee injuries, would miss today’s game. We now have our answer.
Here is Buffalo’s full inactive list for today’s clash with the defending Super Bowl champs.

WR Keon Coleman
The second-year man’s journey into “bust” territory continues, as he’ll be inactive in favor of veteran Gabe Davis, who was also a healthy scratch for the last few weeks. Brandin Cooks, Khalil Shakir, Tyrell Shavers, and Joshua Palmer round out the receiver group.
TE Dalton Kincaid
After playing last weekend when he was clearly limited by a knee issue, Kincaid will sit this week while still dealing with that knee injury. Dawson Knox, who was also questionable with a knee injury, is active.
T Tylan Grable
The second-year man is once again a healthy scratch, as the offensive line is at full strength.
DT DaQuan Jones
This one hurts, as the Eagles are a very good rushing offense, and the Bills are already a very poor rushing defense with their top one-tech in the lineup. Without him, expect the Eagles to pound the rock and test the middle of Buffalo’s defense.
DT Jordan Phillips
With both Phillips and Jones out, that means veteran Larry Ogunjobi, who was a healthy scratch last week, is active again this week. He’ll join rookies Deone Walker and T.J. Sanders, along with former second-round pick Phidarian Mathis, at defensive tackle.
S Jordan Poyer
The veteran is out this week thanks to a hamstring injury he suffered in the second half last week. Poyer was outstanding against one of his former teams, the Cleveland Browns, and now he won’t have the chance to play against another of those former clubs. Darnell Savage is active for the first time in a Buffalo uniform. Jordan Hancock and Cam Lewis are likely to play in Poyer’s place, but look for Savage to see some snaps in dime situations, as well.
K Matt Prater
The veteran is still nursing a quad injury, so he’s out for another week. Michael Badgley is up from the practice squad for the second straight game.
Here are the inactive players for Philadelphia.
