On Monday morning, it was announced that Boston College sophomore running back Turbo Richard plans to enter the transfer portal.
Richard was a bright spot for BC in what turned out to be a mostly miserable season. Despite the 2-10 record, Turbo showed up week-to-week and put up 1,027 yards from scrimmage and 11 TDs across 11 games. He was 5th in the ACC in total TDs and 10th in rushing yards. He also created some electric plays over the course of the season, including very long TD runs against Cal, Georgia Tech, and others.
Despite going through a long and difficult 2025 campaign for BC, Richard was a team player that showed up every week and gave it his all. He’s a true Eagle and will be missed on the Heights. Good luck at your next school, Turbo!
