Real Madrid defender responds to Galatasaray and PSG interest

A fresh report from Defensa Central suggests that Antonio Rudiger has taken an important stand on his future by turning down an approach from Paris Saint-Germain, at least for the time being. 

The German defender has made it clear that his priority remains with Real Madrid, despite growing interest from across Europe and beyond.

Rudiger’s situation is shaping up to be one of the more delicate decisions facing Real Madrid. 

While other high-profile cases appear more straightforward, uncertainty surrounds the German.

In his case, the interest is already concrete. The former Chelsea defender has several offers on the table that would allow him to negotiate a January exit. 

Wants to wait for Real Madrid

As it turns out, he has no intention of rushing his decision or committing to a new club before understanding exactly where he stands in Madrid’s long-term plans. 

The defender is fully aware that his future at the Bernabeu has yet to be defined, but he prefers patience over pressure.

As such, he wants to hear directly from Florentino Perez, either in the form of a contract renewal proposal or a clear indication that he is no longer central to the club’s sporting project. 

Only once that clarity is provided will he consider taking the next step in his career.

For now, that stance has led him to politely reject advances from PSG as well as Galatasaray. 

Both clubs have been informed that, at present, Rudiger has no intention of signing elsewhere and remains focused on extending his stay in Madrid.

From Real Madrid’s perspective, the situation is complex. The club holds Rudiger in high regard and, not long ago, a renewal would have been a straightforward decision. 

However, concerns surrounding his physical condition have introduced hesitation, making the risk assessment more delicate than before.
