Report – Argentina Defender Unwilling To Leave Inter Milan Despite Fringe Status

Forgotten defender Tomas Palacios reportedly has no intention of leaving Inter Milan during the January transfer window.

According to FCInterNews, the Argentine center-back is determined to stay at San Siro until the end of the season.

Inter were desperate to offload Tomas Palacios last summer but couldn’t generate enough offers.

Furthermore, the player turned down a move to Brazil.

Indeed, several South American clubs were keen on the 22-year-old despite his fringe status in Milan.

Inter paid Independiente Rivadavia around €6.5 million to sign Palacios in the summer of 2024.

However, the Argentine has failed to settle in Serie A, making just three cameo appearances over the past 18 months.

Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu has sidelined Palacios from his project.

Indeed, the youngster has not made a single minute this season, underscoring his complete absence from the club’s long-term plans.

Therefore, the Italian giants are ready to listen to offers for their outcast, who seems to have other ideas.
