Ruben Amorim says there is a possibility players might return from injury in time to face Leeds United.
The Manchester United head coach was speaking in the pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday’s game at Elland Road.
The first question was about whether there are any players coming back from injury or any new issues.
“We are going to be no issues, no different issues,” Amorim replied. “We are going to see tomorrow. We have more and more training. I don’t think so, that they are going to [be available], anyone is going to recover, but we’ll see.”
He was then asked: “Obviously, players like Harry and Bruno would be a huge boost for a place like Elland Road. I’m guessing you’ve not experienced it before in any way. And what are you expecting from that?”
Amorim replied “No, I heard that it’s a big derby, a great environment, big rivalry. But every game in Premier League is so tough for us. So it’s one more game. I know that it means a lot to the fans, but we need to go there and try to win.”
Amorim was then asked if he is happy with the progress the team is making and the league position he finds himself in.
“I think we are playing better,” he said. “When we have the full squad, we are clearly attacking better. We are not being good enough in the details. We should have more points in the moment, but want always more. And we should have, again, we should have more points in the table.”
