FC Bayern is a formidable opponent for most teams
Bayern Munich came out of the gate guns ablaze at the start of the season, winning 16 straight games and generally sweeping all teams before them. Vincent Kompany has taken the team to new heights, and it all boils down to trust.
“What I have absolute faith in is the quality of the players”, Kompany declared (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia). “Everything we do, we do purely to support them. The most important thing is the mentality of everyone putting in the legwork for each other: Teamwork beats tactics, that’s the core of the game. I want a team with the force of a hurricane: working together, connected, carrying each other, having fun. Then there’s no limit.”
This Bayern team as it is about as unbeatable as it gets, and that’s with injuries to first-team players too. Another midfielder will make the team better because one of them is dragging the team down.
