While Barcelona are currently navigating the dilemma of bringing Joao Cancelo back to the team, the club are also keeping tabs on several talented players across the world.
Barcelona are always open to beefing up their ranks in the youth department, which has produced several first-team players for the team in the recent past.
Keeping that in mind, Barcelona have emerged as one of the clubs keeping an eye on Roberto Rosado, a young fullback making waves in the youth divisions of Spanish football, reports SPORT.
Who is Roberto Rosado?
A left-back by trade, Rosado currently plies his trade for Cadiz’s U19 squad. At the age of just 17, he has raised many eyebrows with his technical abilities.
At a young age, Rosado has shown the ability to cover the entire flank with his attacking prowess and pace, making him an attractive prospect for clubs like Barça.
While the report points out that many clubs across Europe are keeping tabs on Rosado, Barcelona have emerged as the most determined team to try and acquire his services.

The club are actively trying to get an early head start by contacting the player’s inner circle.
Cadiz are aware of the interest from Barça and other clubs, but none so far have proposed any formal offer for the defender.
It must be noted that Cadiz have recently confirmed the sale of youth prodigy Guille Gonzalez to Real Madrid for half a million euros. Whether or not Rosado follows suit by joining a big club remains to be seen.
Barcelona’s move for the youngster will depend on their future plans with Jofre Torrents, a talented left-back poised to make a breakthrough in the first team.
If Torrents fail to impress in the first team, Barcelona may strongly look at the possibility of signing Rosado from Cadiz.
