Every women's golf major venue in 2026: Hazeltine, Riviera on the slate

Check out the venues for each women's major championship in 2026, from Riviera to Hazeltine and more.

From Maja Stark's unexpected breakthrough at Erin Hills to Minjee Lee's third major title to the instant classic that was the Amundi Evian Championship, the 2025 women's golf majors provided some seriously memorable moments.

But now that the calendar has flipped, it's time to start looking ahead. We've already broken down every men's major venue and every USGA championship venue in the year ahead. Now, let's take a look at where all five women's majors will be played in 2026.

Memorial Park Golf Course - 2026 Chevron Championship (April 23-26)

In 2023, the Chevron Championship controversially moved from the Dinah Shore Tournament Course in California to The Club at Carlton Woods in Texas. Now, it's on the move again, but staying in the Lonestar State, as Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston will be the venue for the 2026 edition of the Chevron Championship.

This course will look familiar to many golf fans as it has hosted the PGA Tour's Houston Open since 2021. The men will play there again in 2026, and one month after that, the world's best female golfers will take on the 7,292-yard, par 72 track. Memorial Park, a municipal course, underwent a $34 million renovation five years ago — designed by Tom Doak with the help of Brooks Koepka — thanks to a large financial commitment from the Astros Foundation. As a result, it now ranks No. 8 among Golfweek's Best Public Courses in Texas and has landed yet another big-time event in the professional game.

Riviera Country Club - 2026 U.S. Women's Open (June 4-7)

Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, is also an annual stop on the PGA Tour for the Genesis Invitational, but the ladies will get a crack at the legendary course when the 2026 U.S. Women's Open arrives there this summer.

Ranked No. 3 among Golfweek's Best Private Courses in California, Riviera has been the site of a U.S. Open, two PGA Championships and, most recently, the 2017 U.S. Amateur. It's also set to host the golf competitions in the 2028 LA Olympic Games. The course measures 7,400 yards for the Genesis Invitational with a par 72. Originally designed by George C. Thomas in the 1920s, Riviera is famous for its 18th hole — a long par 4 with a sharp dogleg right and a blind, uphill tee shot that makes it one of the toughest finishing holes in golf.

Hazeltine National - 2026 KPMG Women's PGA Championship (June 25-28)

Golf fans in the upper Midwest get to join in on the party in 2026 as the KPMG Women's PGA Championship returns to the renowned Hazeltine National Golf Club, which is ranked No. 4 among Golfweek's Best Private Courses in Minnesota. Located just outside the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, this track has become one of the premier venues for major golf events in the United States, having hosted two men's U.S. Opens, two women's U.S. Opens, two U.S. Amateurs, two PGA Championships and the 2016 Ryder Cup.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1962, Hazeltine a beast of a golf course, measuring 7,674 yards from the back championship tees with a par 72. At the 2019 KPMG Women's PGA, Hannah Green finished 9 under for the week and defeated Park Sung-hyun by one shot to capture her first major title at Hazeltine. Tiger Woods was the runner-up here both times it hosted the men's PGA Championship, in 2002 and 2009.

Evian Resort Golf Club - 2026 Amundi Evian Championship (July 9-12)

The Amundi Evian Championship is the women's equivalent of the Masters in the sense that it's the only major championship that doesn't change venues. Evian Resort Golf Club in France has played host to this event every year since it was established as the Evian Masters on the Ladies European Tour in 1984. In 2000, it became an LPGA major.

This course started as a nine-hole track but was completely redesigned to its current layout by Cabell B. Robinson in the 1980s. In 2012, it underwent an $8 million renovation at the hands of designer Steve Smyers. Situated in the heart of the French Alps and overlooking Lake Geneva, the views at the Amundi Evian Championship are always breathtaking. The course itself, however, has received some staunch criticism over the years — namely from Lexi Thompson, who wrote an Instagram post in 2019 claiming good shots weren't rewarded at Evian and that she was "thankful" she missed the cut that year so she didn't have to play two more rounds.

Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club - 2026 AIG Women's Open (July 30-Aug. 2)

The 2026 AIG Women's Open will be held at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club in England for a sixth time. This historic course most recently hosted the 2018 Women's Open, which saw Georgia Hall become a major champion with a two-shot victory in her home country. Royal Lytham & St. Annes has also been the site of two Ryder Cups and 11 men's British Open Championships.

The club was founded in 1886 and the current routing was finished in 1897. Its main defense is its amount of bunkers — more than 200 in total — posing a threat on nearly every single shot around the course. Ranked No. 41 among Golfweek's Top 100 International Courses, Royal Lytham & St. Annes has a star-studded roster of past champions that includes Annika Sorenstam and Sherri Steinhauer (twice) on the women's side, as well as Bobby Jones, Gary Player, Seve Ballesteros (twice), David Duvall and Ernie Els on the men's side, among others.
