TCU’s 2026 defensive line gets a boost with return of 2024 Freshman All American
As TCU Football was accumulating good news in the transfer portal on Sunday evening, it got another welcome confirmation: defensive lineman Zachary Chapman will be returning for his redshirt junior season in 2026.
A four-star prospect in the Class of 2023 from Missouri City, TX, Chapman has been a force up front for the Horned Frogs. He earned Freshman All-American honors in 2024 after redshirting his first season on campus. In 26 career games played, Chapman has made 53 total tackles with 6 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. His return bolsters a defensive line that has lost Jonathan Bax to the transfer portal and Devean Deal out of eligibility.
