Smith appeared in 35 games over three seasons at Arizona. For his career he tallied 165 tackles, five interceptions and 19 pass deflections.

Smith signed with Arizona under former coach Jedd Fisch. The Chandler, Ariz. native entered the transfer portal after the 2024 season but chose to return to UA for a third year.
