Former Michigan four-star CB Andre Clarke Jr. signs with new school

After being released from his letter of intent yesterday, former Michigan four-star CB Andre Clarke Jr. has quickly found a new college football home:

After backing out of his letter of intent with the Michigan Wolverines on Monday, 2026 four-star cornerback Andre Clarke Jr. has quickly found his landing spot and has signed with Kentucky.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Richmond, Virginia native chose the Wolverines over various other schools last summer, and Kentucky was one of those schools, so him winding up in Lexington is not a huge surprise.

With LaMar Morgan being his main recruiter and not being retained by new head coach Kyle Whittingham, this news was pretty inevitable. We wish Clarke nothing but the best during his career.

Clarke was the fourth 2026 commitment to back out of his letter of intent following the firing of former head coach Sherrone Moore, with the other players being four-star tight end Matt Ludwig (Texas Tech), four-star wide receiver Brady Marchese (uncommitted) and three-star offensive lineman Bear McWhorter (Auburn).
