Cameron Boozer continues to prove how special he is.

Duke trailed for much of its Tuesday night game at Louisville. But in the end, the Blue Devils' freshman phenom wouldn't let them lose.

He finished with 27 points, which gives him eight games of 25-plus points this season, which leads all of Division I.

Even more impressive is the Duke freshman record he set.

He now has the most games by a Duke frosh ever that featured at least 25 points and a 90% true shooting percentage, according to Real Sports.

On this night, Boozer shot 10-for-12 from the floor, including 3-for-4 from 3-point range. He added eight rebounds, four assists and two steals.

This was the player Duke thought it was getting.

Even among the big-three freshman (BYU's AJ Dybantsa, Kansas' Darryn Peterson), Boozer was viewed as the most polished and ready to simply dominate college basketball. And that's what's happening.

He'll likely be a top-three NBA Draft pick in June, and rightfully so. He's ready to contribute at the professional level right away, too.

Duke will hope that first, Boozer can lead them on a deep run in March. The way he's playing now, he certainly appears capable.
