We’re still a week away from the transfer portal closing, and Penn State remains full throttle ahead. The latest addition comes from former Nittany Lion coach Bill O’Brien’s Boston College squad in Omarion Davis.

The South Carolina native will have three years of eligbility remaining, as he just finished his freshman season, where he saw action in all 12 games for the Eagles, finishing with 13 tackles and one forced fumble. His most notable performance came against Clemson, where he racked up six tackles in his first career start.

Omarion is one of six new safeties joining the roster, along with Iowa State transfers Marcus Neal, Jamison Patton, Hunter Sowell, as well as incoming freshmen Bryson Williams and Tyrell Chatman. It is part of a major overhaul of the room, as Vaboue Toure is the only returning player from last season in the safety room, with everyone else either graduating or hitting the portal themselves. While he might not be a starter right off the bat, his contributions from his lone year at BC seem to indicate that he should be able to be a key part of the rotation, at the very least.
