No JQ tomorrow night.
The Kentucky Wildcats return to action tomorrow night as they welcome the Mississippi State Bulldogs to Rupp Arena. Starting conference play at 0-2, Mark Pope is looking for answers as the team tries to get back on track with a Bulldogs team that is sitting at 2-0 in conference play themselves. Well the injury report tonight will not get the BBN fired up about watching tomorrow night’s game.
In the injury report released tonight, only one Kentucky player was listed as sophomore center, Jayden Quaintance, has been listed as out for the game.
Returning against St John’s, Quaintance really made some noise in that opening game. Now the staff will have to hope they can get the future lottery pick back on the court and quickly.
For the Bulldogs, forward Sergej Macura, is the only player to be listed. He is probable for tomorrow’s game. Averaging 18-minutes per game, Macura adds five points per game for the Bulldogs. He also adds five rebounds per game.
The loss of JQ for the game is the story of this one though. Going to need some big performances from Malachi Moreno and Brandon Garrison to finally get an SEC win.
