Saturday Headlines: Mississippi State Gameday

Good morning, BBN!

Well, it’s gameday.

The Cats are sitting at 9-6 after the catastrophe we witnessed on Wednesday night against Missouri.

You didn’t think it could get any worse, but somehow, this team found a new low.

Up eight with four minutes left and all the momentum at home… it should have been an easy win down the stretch. Instead, the Cats played scared because Coach Pope was coaching scared.

I’d like to say they could turn it around tonight, but there’s really not much to point to for that statement to have substance.

After players went to their Instagram Stories after the bad loss and Pope’s comments yesterday in the press conference, things are just weird with Kentucky Basketball right now.

As for Mississippi State, they’re coming off two strong wins. An overtime battle with Texas followed by a blowout win over Oklahoma.

It will be interesting… will the Cats continue to slide, or will they finally get their first win of SEC play? The game starts at 8:30 PM EST, and you can watch it on the SEC Network.
