The NFL Wild Card Round of the playoffs kicks off today, with games running Saturday through Monday. The Denver Broncos in the AFC have a first-round bye, as do the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC. If you are in the Cleveland area or are a Browns fan, here is how you can watch each game — as well as which ones might have direct relevance to the Browns’ draft position.

- 1:00 PM ET: Buffalo Bills vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (CBS, WOIO 19.1)
- 4:30 PM ET: San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles (FOX, WJW 8.1)
- 8:00 PM ET: Los Angeles Chargers vs. New England Patriots (NBC, WKYC 3.1)
Which team in the postseason this year is the state of Ohio mostly rooting for, compared to other teams? According to geotagged data and fan hashtags, Ohio fans are pulling for the Buffalo Bills. It is kind of amusing looking at the California map with their three teams, and how the two Los Angeles teams have to have their greater rooting interests in Nevada and Arizona.
Speaking of the Bills, they play in Sunday’s first game against the Jaguars. That game will be on the local CBS affiliate, Channel 19.1, with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo calling the action. This game has the greatest rooting interest for Browns fans, as explained by Jared Mueller. He details how a Bills win will help improve the Browns’ first-round draft pick (the one originally owned by the Jaguars).
Next up, we have the 49ers taking on the Eagles on WJW, Channel 8.1, with Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady calling the action for the afternoon game. Then, to close out the evening, the Chargers face the Patriots on WKYC, Channel 3.1, our local NBC affiliate. Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth will be on the call for that one. Jared also explains how, depending on the outcome of the Bills vs. Jaguars game, this game could also impact the Browns’ draft position.
Monday, January 12, 2026
- 8:00 PM ET: Houston Texans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (ESPN/ABC, WEWS 5.1)
This one may not have draft implications, but Browns fans will surely be rooting for a first-round exit for the Steelers. Cleveland tried to help play a role in that by defeating them in Week 16, but in Week 17, by a miracle, they survived against the Baltimore Ravens. Even though former Browns running back Nick Chubb isn’t a big part of the Texans’ offense, we can root for him to have a big moment against our division rival too. The game airs on ESPN/ABC, which means it’ll also appears on WEWS, Channel 5.1 locally.
